First ever film on frech electronic duo will document their early beginnings and their rise to the top of the pops.


The much awaited doc film about the french house duo “Daft Punk Unchained” has been given an official launch date by its distributor BBC Wordwide. It’s gonne be June 24. The premiere will be on Canal+ in France, more networks will follow for sure.

The film is the first doc on the french electrinic band ever made so it should contain lots of interesting stuff about this mysterious group. It will tell the creation of the band as well as the rise to the pop olymp and major sucess.

You will wonder why you only know those masks when you think of Daft Punkt. In the time of social media and music globalisation Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo always refused to show their real faces. More details on this will be covered in the film. Also the early beginnings in their home-studio up to the win of the Grammy Award in 2014.
