Austrian Filmmaker Michael Glawogger passed away in #Liberia last night before he could be evacuated. RIP.

On December 3 2013 Glawogger started a worldtour with a film crew for a yet unamed project. The film should be classified in a series globalization critical documentaries such as “Mega Cities”, “Workingman’s Death” and “Whores’ Glory”, with which the native of Graz had made a name.
Just last Friday Glawogger published a travel-blog post in Harper/Liberia about his ongoing project. The plan was to travel around the world for a year in a red bus, without a concept and expectations for the film. Before Liberia, the film crew had made stops eg in Sierra Leone, Gambia and Senegal and previously toured Eastern Europe.
