On July 24th 2010, more than 80.000 people from 192 countries uploaded their day to YouTube to take part in Life in a Day, to create a documentary film about a single day on earth. The filmmakers Ridley Scott and Kevin Macdonald whittled down over 4500 hours of footage into a 90-minute film that was first shown at the Sundance, Berlin and SXSW Filmfestival in 2011.
Now after the film was realeased in theaters around the globe, the film has returned to where it all began: the internet – for free. Subtitles available in almost any language. Enjoy!
