Some say that men never grow up. When watching this film, the viewer might agree. AFOL stands for Adult Fans of Lego and some of them are the protagonists of this funny and entertaining short documentary by Jess Gibson.

The filmmaker visits some grown ups who still have fun with their Lego either at home (maybe „brick studios“ would be a better term) or at Lego conventions. You really have to marvel at the pieces the men are building – from huge insects to true-to-detail cars. Almost nothing seems impossible with the multicolored bricks. In interviews the men talk about the reasons for their life long interest. A nice little film about true passion which should be interesting for adults and kids alike – and for anyone who loves Lego.

documentary.net says: Great Lego creations and funny interviews make for a entertaining watch.
