This documentary features stories of real individuals whose lives have been adversely affected by texting behind the wheel. Texting behind the wheel appears to be a growing problem. According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, 5,500 people were killed in 2009 because of “distracted driving” and the largest proportion of those fatalities were people under 20.
The doc was part of AT&T’s “It Can Wait” TV, print and online campaign in 2010.
